Today we're suggesting a creative way for you to show love to your Valentine and some other fellow creatures all at the same time. Here's how and why. Down the road a few miles from The Property on which we live is the Wildlife Science Center. We've been supporters of the work that they do since shortly after we moved to the neighborhood (the "neighborhood" being Carlos Avery Wildlife Management Area which The Property abuts). A special collaboration between St. Croix Chocolate Co., artist Cindy Lindgren and the Wildlife Science Center (WSC), “Wild at Heart” offers four beautiful, delicious chocolates and an opportunity to learn more about the research and education the Center is known for.So, if you get a Wild at Heart package for your Valentine, some of the proceeds will go to support WSC, much of your purchase helps support SCCC, and your loved one will really enjoy the look and taste of the chocolates. Chocolate
Velvet fruit, exquisite squareI hold up to sniffbetween finger and thumb -
how you numb mewith your rich attentions! If I don't eat you quickly,
you'll melt in my palm.Pleasure seeker, if i let youyou'd liquefy everywhere.
Knotted smoke, dark punchof earth and night and leaf, for a taste of you
any woman would gladlycrumble to ruin.Enough chatter: I am ready
to fall in love!
