Tomorrow has the makings of an interesting day, especially in Florida. I suspect I’ll be busy with some personal business and will only check in on any goings on from time to time. I do find it fascinating that Hitler committed suicide before he could be brought to justice. Does giving any credibility to a claim that a federal indictment is baseless suggest that the US has gone soft on law and order or just that not as many folks died of COVID and sharing top secret national security tidbits as were murdered in gas ovens? The fact that an orange monster is the “front runner” for a major party presidential nomination certainly adds credibility to rumors of the failure of the American education system. Whatever happened to root cause analysis and critical thinking skills?

A long time ago I learned a short version of a sweet prayer that I’ve been repeating more and more often recently. It’s called the Serenity Prayer and it goes like this:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
It’s the third part that most often gives me a hard time. I have a feeling this week I’ll need all the wisdom and grace I can get my hands on, as may most of us who are thinking and caring people.
My Wisdom
